Homeopathic products are labelled differently from herbal ones. Here is what the main types mean.

  • Mother tincture (Q): the original undiluted extract, usually taken as drops in water.
  • Dilutions (6C, 30C, 200C): the number shows how many times the substance has been diluted.
  • Combination drops: numbered formulas made by one maker. Use the number to find the right product.
  • Biochemic tissue salts: small tablets based on mineral salts.

Tips

  • Many homeopathic products share a remedy name. Check the potency (Q, 6C, 30C) carefully before ordering.
  • Follow the maker’s directions or your practitioner’s advice.

General information only, not medical advice. Check with your doctor before use, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medicines or buying for a child.
